Marie Cotel
Marie’s approach to health is very much an integrative one. She combines her background in biomedical sciences with healing traditions to bring unique treatments to her patients, both in her remedial massages and her herbal medicine practice.
Her personal experience of fibromyalgia led her to focus her interest on chronic pain conditions, chronic fatigue, and burnout. She understands the toll these conditions can take on the body and the mind, which is why her approach is truly holistic, targeting all aspects of wellbeing.
Marie’s massage treatments are all tailored to the individual and blend some of the following techniques: holistic massage, deep tissue, acupressure, hot stones, myofascial release, structural integration, active stretches, Thai massage, lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy.
Marie believes that identifying and treating the root cause of disease or dysfunction is the foundation of healing.
You can email Marie to book a complimentary 15-min phone call if you want to learn more about her modalities of treatment and if they would be suitable for you: marie@cityalternativetherapies.co.uk

Simone Clark
(She/Her/Hers)
Simone is a qualified physiotherapist with experience in musculoskeletal and respiratory disorders. She feels that the best way to treat a client is to listen to their story, understand what changes have occurred and to teach the client how to best heal themselves.
Pain is not something we should have to put up with and although it is experienced physically there is also a mental aspect to it. Simone aims to improve specific movements and functional activities in order to reduce her client’s pain, and to break the dysfunctional feedback loop feeding in to the brains perception of pain.
Physiotherapy is an exercise-based treatment that should be continued outside of treatment sessions in order to maximise its effectiveness.
